Edward R. Halpaus
Ed & Sharon were married in 1965; they are the parents of 3 grown daughters, and have 8 grandchildren.
Ed retired from the Prudential Insurance Company of America, now Prudential Financial Services, with 32 years of service. He operated his own insurance agency in Mora, Minnesota for 16 years before accepting the position of Sales Manager with the Prudential. His responsibilities were to recruit, hire and train Financial Services Representatives. In 1992 Ed semi-retired; he and Sharon then moved back to their hometown of Mora where they currently reside.
Ed received his Masonic degrees in Mora Lodge #223 A.F. & A.M.; receiving his Master Mason degree in September 1977.
Life Member Mora Lodge #223 A.F. & A.M.; serving as Master in 1981 & 1994; serving as Secretary from 1995 to 2001.
Ed is also a Past Master, (serving as master in 2003,) of Helios Lodge #273 A.F. & A.M.
Member of North Star Lodge #23
Recipient, “Grand Lodge Hiram Award” in 1996 from Mora Lodge #223 A.F. & A.M.
Recipient of the Mentor of the year award from Helios Lodge #273 in 2006
